Unfortunately, I was not able to see everyone before I left, and I am so so sorry to those of you I missed. Please do not take that to heart! I definitely wanted to spend time with everyone, I just did not have enough time! For those of you that I did see...you know that I really pushed myself thin...a little too thin. But, that's ok!
I'm in Philly right now! After my first day, I am officially a Peace Corps Trainee...which I will be for the next 3 months until I'm sworn in as a Peace Corps Volunteer in July! I am so excited about these next few months... everything in me says that it's going to be great! Also, there are 52 other volunteers going with me! We all have a lot in common and I'm sure will become great friends soon!
I am sooo tired...like my good friend called it...I was up all night packing, although I really did try not to... See below for a pic of all of my luggage. Which, by the way, is Completely overweight, length...over every kind of restriction the airline can place on baggage, I sure did neglect to pay attention when packing. Lol.
But anyway, I can't wait to update you all on all of the great things going on in Guatemala! I truly am blessed and thankful that God has charged me with this task! I am also blessed to have so many of you supporting me and motivating me through this journey of my life! I learned today that I will definitely need you all throughout my Entire 2 years of service, so Please send me facebook messages, emails about what's going on, letters, care packages... whatever your heart desires! Can't wait to start my Skype dates!
